- Jannetje (Jenny) passed away suddenly on Monday, October 4, 2004, at the age of 72. Jenny is predeceased by her parents and brothers Wim and Dick. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Gerry, daughter Marie (Ron) Wood, granddaughter Jennifer Wood of Regina, sisters Edith (Jaap) Van Oudheusden, Willy Groenenberg, brothers Arie, Wout and Cor Groenenberg all in Holland, brother and sister-in-law Bob (Claudine) van der Velden of Regina and numerous brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins both in Canada and in Holland. Jenny was born in Klaaswaal, Holland and immigrated to Canada in 1960. She was a very kind hearted and generous person, always ready to help family and friends at a moment's notice. She enjoyed reading, gardening, crafts, visits out to the lake and occasional trips to the spa. Over the past several years she enjoyed annual trips to Holland to visit family and friends and to travel throughout Europe.
